Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all afford to invest in a brand new RV every single year? For most of us, that’s not the case. Fortunately, we can all make our space feel new without having to go through the hassle of purchasing a new RV. Here are a few simple tricks to spice up your space and leave it feeling new!
Clear Storage Containers
You’d be surprised how something so small can make a big difference. Investing in some clear glass storage containers adds a dash of posh to even the most basic of spaces. These can be used to store cereal, spices, sugar, or even spaghetti noodles. Mix and match the different sizes and try setting these on a rectangular wooden platter or a circular silver platter. You’ll find yourself actually wanting to cook in your super cute kitchen space.
Seasonal Throw Blankets
A seasonal throw blanket is a great way to mix things up in your space. This can set on the foot of your bed or on the mini-sofa. A decorative throw blanket is one quick way to cozy up your space, and, if you coordinate with your bedding, add a legitimate color theme to your RV. You can find great throws anywhere, too!
New Bedding or Decorative Pillows
Your bedding is the most prominent decorative opportunity in your RV. Therefore, it is important that you at least like it. Especially with spring and summer on the horizon, you might want to invest in a warm-weather bed set and a cold-weather bed set. Changing your bedding will feel like a drastic change since the space is so small. If you aren’t ready to commit to a full bedding swap, try investing in some new decorative pillows to add in a little color here and there.
Keeping in touch with your decorative pillows, try finding some placemats in that same color pallet. This is another simple way to add color to your space, specifically your table. Since a tablecloth isn’t always realistic in an RV, give placemats a go and see what you think.
A Touch of Green
Studies show that a little green will open up a room. Invest in a plant that you can keep in your RV. Find something small that requires little attention for best results. Succulents and aloe vera plants are relatively low maintenance and would be a great splash of green in your space.
