    DIY Fall Decor

    It’s that time of year again! Pinterest is abuzz with photos of autumn leaves, the weather is cooling, and everything seems to have pumpkin in it. Now that Fall is here and the holidays just around the corner, it’s time to start putting out wreaths and other fabulous seasonal decorations. That’s why we decided to compile a list of easy DIY Fall decorations that would look perfect in houses and RVs alike. 

    Leaf InitialsFall Leaf Initial

    Materials:

    Wooden Letters
    Spray Adhesive
    Fake Leaves
    Ribbon (optional)

    Directions:

    Take wooden letter and position fake leaves around as desired. Use spray adhesive to adhere leaves to to the letter once leaves are in their desired position. Once finished, tie a ribbon around the leaf initial or drill a hole in it to aid in hanging.

    Natural Room Scents Natural Room Scents

    Orange, Cinnamon, and Spice

    Materials:

    Mason Jar
    Water
    1 Orange (Sliced)
    2 Cinnamon Sticks or 2 Teaspoons of Ground Cinnamon
    1/2 Tablespoon Whole Cloves (or 1/8 Teaspoon Ground Cloves)
    1/2 Tablespoon Whole Allspice (or 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Allspice)

    Directions:

    Place orange, cinnamon, cloves and allspice in mason jar. Fill with water and store in fridge or freezer until ready to use. They can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks and in the freezer for around a month. To use simply place mixture in pot and heat to a boil, once boiling lower temperature so that the mixture simmers mildly. Make sure to keep an eye on the water level so the ingredients do not burn.

    Autumn Leaf Candle HoldersAutumn Leaf Jars

    Materials

    Rubbing Alcohol
    Mason Jars
    Leaves (Real or Fake)
    Mod Podge
    Sponge Brush
    Ribbon or Raffia (Optional)

    Directions:

    Remove any oil or dirt on the outside of the mason jar with rubbing alcohol.  Once clean, take a sponge brush and paint a thin layer of mod podge onto a section of the jar. When the layer becomes very sticky place a leaf on the section. Paint multiple thin layers of mod podge over the leaf, working from the middle out. Pay careful attention to the edges, making sure they don’t stick out. This will take multiple layers before the leaf is firmly secured. Repeat process a much as desired around jar. Once you are done applying leaves allow the jars a few hours to dry. Once dry, tie ribbon or raffia around the top of the jar and place a candle or alternative light source inside.
